Summary
I've been using Unitrin for a while. Each time I call and question my policy they always find some way to make it lower. Thankfully I never been in any accidents with them. I recently placed another call to get my wife added and to change my martial status. They were able to discount me further more for doing so. I guess being married plus adding another safe driver to the policy makes it lower. We're both turning 25 so that maybe it too. Anyhow, great customer service expect for the slight hold time ..

Summary
It was easy to get a car insurance plan. But it was never that easy to get a right kind of car insurance with low price and better quality. This opinion changed when I joined Unitrin Direct. It will be better to say that they changed my opinion with their low price and excellent car insurance scheme. When this supplemented with quality customer service, there was no other option with me than to stand wondered.

Summary
Beware of the low "introductory rate." They don't tell you when you purchese, but they're giving you a "discount" of $25 per month. When your renewal comes through six months later, you see the rates have gone up by $25 per month. Call them and they apologize for not telling you when you enrolled..

Two years back i met with a horrible accident, and i was in critical situation regarding financially then i approached Unitrin Direct which made a truly horrifying experience much easier for me. I had no problem to track down any for help or make a ton of phone calls. I will continue to be with Unitrin Direct for my car insurance, and will switch my home insurance to them as soon as my current policies expire. Unitrin Direct is a real pleasure dealing with people who are here to make a difference.
